Travelocity has signed a contract to continue its long-time working relationship with Yahoo! Travel. Through the agreement, Travelocity will remain the exclusive booking provider for all air, car and hotel packaging options, and the new exclusive provider for cruise and vacation packages.
The combine service will provide consumers with an enhanced booking experience and the ability to view shared content, such as travel reviews posted to both sites, and open the door for additional joint marketing opportunities.
“The proven relationship between our two trusted brands gives the millions of visitors to our site the advantage of tapping into Travelocity’s industry-leading content for a simple, worry-free travel experience,” said Pablo O’Brien, product director at Yahoo! Travel. “Our goal is to connect our users with exactly what travel information they need, when they need it, and Travelocity’s powerful booking engine helps us deliver on that goal.”
