Two new services on the market allow sites to increase their web 2.0
presence and search engine ranking without much bother at all.

Don’t have time to blog? Check out MyBlogWriter. The service allows those with little extra time to hire professional blog writers to ghostwrite their blog.

The blog writers write posts directly related to their clients’
specific industry, and promise to pack it full of SEO-friendly
keywords. They’ll even submit clients’ blogs to search engines at no
extra charge.

MyBlogWriter’s bloggers are all based in the US or Canada, a promise
they verify by using the US postal service to mail paychecks.

The service allows users to select from pre-set packages (10, 20, or
30 posts a month), or they can contact the staff to create a custom
package.

The advantages of having a blog are pretty well-known – they are key
for giving visitors an incentive to return to a site. Not only can they
increase and maintain traffic, but they are great ways to incorporate
keywords, which can help for SEO.

However, countless blogs are started and then abandoned since the
owner simply can’t find the time to keep it updated. This service is an
excellent one for those whose last post still reads ‘Merry Christmas’.

OK, so now the blog is taken care of, but what about Twitter? Anyone
who’s anyone nowadays has a Twitter account, posting one-line update
after one-line update all day long.

But what if a Twitterer doesn’t have any followers? It’s a bit of a
catch-22, because not many people will bother reading Tweets that don’t
have many followers. So how do you get these faithful followers?

A new service allows Twitterers to pay for them. It’s sort of like
buying your friends, but in a very business-like manner, for profitable
results.

Twitboost.com, created by a Virginia Tech University graduate, sends
tweets to industry-specific targeted followers, who in turn tweet about
items and topics related to the client’s industry.

Those concerned about violating Twitter’s strict code need not worry
– the staff explain they have followed Twitter’s terms and conditions
to a tee.

The service costs about ten cents per follower, with packages
starting at 500 followers and going as high as 5000 (and they’ll even
go higher, but you have to contact them to arrange special packages).
Prices increase towards the top end due to Twitter’s 10 percent cap on
the follower/following ratio after followers reach 2,000.

The turnaround for Twitboost’s service is surprisingly fast. They
can get Twitterers 500 followers in 2-3 days. For 4000-5000 followers,
the turnaround time is about a month.

As with so many things in life, once a suitable following is
established, it often doesn’t take long for it to continue to build on
its own. Twitboost could prove immensely useful for not only its
clients’ Twitter accounts, but also their Twitter-based confidence.

Both of these services, MyBlogWriter.com and Twitboost.com, seem
like great ways for those with a bit of extra cash but no extra time to
increase their site’s SEO and traffic rankings.
